Translated as little dancing chicken the Pollito Boogaloo boys deliver raw Afro-Colombian roots music drawing from classic 60s Cumbia, Vallenato and Puya, mixing in a little dub and touch of Haitian music.
Band leader Rafael Berrio was born and grew up in Colombia. In his words ‘its about music and identity’ After his father died he felt completely inspired to play the traditional music of his ancestors, the folk music that his father and grandfather would have known. Its very happy music yet speaks about both the funny and sad aspects of every day life. Rafael is the only Colombian in the band but every musician in the band equally feel a strong passion for the musical culture of Colombia.

Cosmo
One man, a loop pedal , a synthesiser and whole lot of mouth generated noise equal a truly awesome live act. Bridging genres, time and space Cosmo performs the kind of show a whole band can only dream of. A true hero of The Blind Tiger and a regular at and numerous other events around the city.
