Bored of your wardrobe, but on an austerity budget? Now you can grab yourself a bit of budget glamour every month at the My Swish monthly clothes swap. My Swish, the South East’s only clothes-swapping events company will be holding a swish at The Blind Tiger Club on Grand Parade in Brighton on the first Sunday of every month from 1.30pm. Just pop along with 1-15 items of clothing you no longer wear and leave with a someone else’s pre-loved pieces. The lovely ladies of My Swish explain, ‘It’s just like a library for clothes – you can try out different looks every month. Now there’s no need ever to feel bored with your wardrobe again!’ 10% of ticket sales go to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. Book online at www.myswish.co.uk.
Clothes swapping with My Swish couldn’t be easier! Here’s a quick guide to how it works.
Before you come:
1. ✴ Sort out between two and fifteen items of clothing you no longer wear.
1. ✴ Make sure they are clean and not worn or damaged.
On arrival:
1. ✴ Check in your clothes at the desk and exchange them for a points card. You will receive 50 points for Designer items, 20 points for high-end High Street items and 10 points for budget High Street items.
The swish:
1. ✴ When the swapping begins you may take items to the value of your points and exchange them for your card at the desk. That gorgeous bag or frock is now yours!
